We, the Republic, have descended from Hercules himself. Taught never to retreat, never to surrender. Taught that death in the battlefield is the greatest glory he could achieve in his life. The Republic: the finest soldiers the moon has ever known!
Six Years after the first King of Rome the Atlantians decided to leave this realm. They proposed an agreement being one of the most rare that the diplomat read. Not only was it an accord about them leaving but it called for members to send a party to meet at this most mysterious nation. They would agree to send three of the best soldiers from Sparta, Macedonia, Carthage, Rome, Athens, and the early Peripheries of Greece to meet in Atlantis.
With the arival of the nations bought a great meeting. The Atlantian named Theo, told the other members of their real nature and why there were summoned. What was told in that meeting even silenced Plato. They told them about the real Atlantian empire and where they were planing to go to. Many of the visitors started to walk out when they saw a craft land in the water. The Atlantians asked for the members to come with them as they were leaving Planet Earth. Where these warriors where taken shocked them. This planet was named Argos. Nothing could compare to this empires greatness. Years of adventures took a toll on these warriors.
One year after, these warriors somehow escaped back to earth. Their guide back to the planet warned them of a grave situation. They saw that the moon was as bright as the sun and knowing that the planet was in danger. So they decided to gather what was left of there families and friends to leave.
With much debate they returned to Argos to find that they were gone. So they took over the city and began there lives there. After many years they were a growing civilization. They called themselves the Republic of the Agean. After many moons the Republic conquered its neighbors and was in complete control of the Planet. This brought the golden age of the Republic.
During this age in republic power, expansion was needed. They scouted this one planet where many nations and alliances where colonizing. After great debate within the Republican Senate the vote was agreed to.
Using the latest in Atlantian technology, the Republican army mobilized the fleet. Spacecraft landed and the Snowdust Republic was setup.
The rest is history.
[edit] The Snowdust Republic Constitution
Preamble
We, the members of the this alliance, wish to come together in a spirit of unity to draft this Constitution for the good of the moon. This organization has been formed to unite the colonies of this Cyber Universe. It is the singular goal of this constitution to further improve, reform and maintain that structure. As such, we, the allied peoples of this Lunar Alliance, sign this Constitution.
Title
This Organization shall be known as the Snowdust Republic; "SR". This name will stand for strength, unity and most of all, Friendship.
Arctic I: Admission & Membership
Admission: Admission into the Snowdust Republic must involve the following:

Membership: Membership into the Snowdust Republic shall be granted to anyone that shall agree to all statements below:
1: Membership shall be granted to applying colonies by a member of the Department of Masking as soon as possible. Once membership is granted, new members of the Snowdust Republic are required to report to where the department wishes.
2: Membership of other alliances is not allowed; unless it is approved by a member of the Patricians Guard and/or Protector.
3: All members of the Snowdust Republic must agree to be bound to the document before them. Any member found in violation of any of these clauses may be subject to disciplinary action by the Senate.
Article II: Patricians Guard
Patrician:
- This member is the founding member and ghost leader of the Alliance. This position is to be held by one of the oldest members of the Alliance.
o His Majesty, The Holyone, will fill this position until deemed incapable by himself.
+ Bylaw 1: This position holds Supreme veto & tie break power over anything in the Alliance.
- Sub Rule: Can be overruled by Protector and Senate quorum of 66%.
+ Bylaw 2: The Patrician himself is allowed to pick a replacement for his position.
+ Bylaw 3: This position may over override a veto from the Consul.
Consul:
- Appointed by the Patrician, these members are accountable to the Patrician of which they were elected. This position is to be held by two members of the alliance.
o KZMN and NightBringer056 will fill this position until deemed incapable by the Patrician. If said Patrician leaves office they are accountable to the Protector via Rider veto (see Bylaw 1).
+ Bylaw 1: The Protector may Rider veto (which means a vote of no confidence) them to the new Patrician with then can dismiss them.
+ Bylaw 2: This position holds Veto Power over anything in the Alliance minus Elections.
Article III: The Parliament
Protector:
- Elected Leader of the Alliance. This member is the leader of the Snowdust Republic. The Protector is elected for a one month term and can be extended in times of conflict.
+ Bylaw 1: This position holds veto power over the Ministers and the Senate.
+ Bylaw 2: This position can also make emergency decisions on behalf of the Alliance if he gives notice to the Patricians Guard.
+ Bylaw 3: Must be a Member of the alliance for an minimum 3 weeks.
Vice-Protector
- Elected Runner-up in the Protector elections. The VP can act with the Protector and can act as the Protector when the Protector is absent. This person controls all activity in the Senate. This position is known as the "Senate President".
+ Bylaw 1: This position holds minority (under Protector) veto power over the Ministers.
+ Bylaw 2: This position can be elevated to the power of Protector if said Protector is not present.
+ Bylaw 3: Known as the Senate President, the Vice-Protector controls all voting within the Senate. He may appoint a Senate Whip to act in his stead.
[Elected Cabinet]
Foreign Ministry: Lead by Legatus Orator
- This person deals with all matters external to the Alliance. Said Minister also appoints the Department "Directors" with approval from the Protector.
+ Bylaw 1: This position holds power over his departments and officials.
+ Bylaw 2: This position is elected to a two month term by the Senate.
+ Bylaw 3: This person can create any Department he wishes to help the Ministry.
+ Bylaw 4: This position cannot overstep the other Ministers power.
- Permanent Departments:
- Foreign Affairs Bureau: This position handles everything diplomatic in the Alliance.
- Recruitment Department: This position handles all things related to recruiting for the Alliance. Also works on Media and visual displays for the alliances.
Interior Ministry: Lead by Aedile
- This person deals with all matters internal to the Alliance. This Minister also appoints the Department "Directors" or Leaders with approval from the Protector.
+ Bylaw 1: This position holds power over his departments and officials.
+ Bylaw 2: This position is elected to a two month term by the Senate.
+ Bylaw 3: This person can create any Department he wishes to help the Ministry.
+ Bylaw 4: This position cannot overstep the other Minister's power.
- Permanent Departments:
- Education Department: This department handles everything related to the education of the Alliance membership.
- Security Department: This group is appointed by the Patricians Guard. They handle everything related to security and work with the Root admins to resolve it. They also control masking of new members to the alliance.
- The Legato: This department is a major part of the Interior Ministry. Lead by the Legatus, appointed by the Protector, this position may setup the Snowdust Republic Military in any way set fit with oversight by the Protector.
1. Parliaments elected officials must vote together in a majority to give a Declaration to another Alliance. In case of this the elected officials have 24 hours to come to a vote or it goes to the Senate.
2. Appointed members of the Departments are known as Directors unless noted in this document.
3. Each Minister needs to appoint an understudy to learn how they do their jobs. In the case of a Minister resigning the Protector may assign a replacement or the understudy. The replacement must be confirmed by the Senate in a simple majority.
Article VI: The Senate
Senate:
- This position is given to the General Populace of the Alliance. They have the power to veto any Protector Decision and may bring anything to the Protectors desk.
Tribune:
o This position holds the voice of the Senate and may bring anything to the Senate President. The Membership may bring any legislation to his desk and he can set it up for a vote in the Senate.
+ If a vote is given a 2/3 Majority it can become a Bylaw. It must be signed by the Senate President. The Senate President has the power to veto it back to the Senate once for a revote. It must gain a Super Majority of 3/4 to pass. Also if any veto holder gives a veto it takes a Super Majority to unstep them. Patrician can have a veto overturned if there is a 80% majority.
+ All Proposals get a 24 hour vote from when the Tribune approves or denies.
- The Tribune is a Nominated Position. People are only allowed to Nominate one person and at the end of 24 hours the most Nominated is elected (Protector breaks Tie). Their term last one month and at the end he may stay unless any member calls for a "running veto" which will start the election.
Trials:
- In the event of a trial the Senate President will call for the Patrician and the Consuls to be the Triumvirate of the Republic. TheTriumvirate will dictate the rules of the Republic and give there Summary decisions on the trial. The Jury will be the Alliance Membership and they will vote on the matter and give a majority decision to theTriumvirate. The Triumvirate will strike a decision based on the Jury.
Article V: Constitutional Changes
- Any person of the Alliance can propose a Constitutional Change to the Senate President. Once proposed and give for Consultation in the Senate it will be voted on. Said change needs a Super Majority of 3/4 to pass. only Patrician can veto a Constitutional Change.
Article VI: Elections
- Any elections of the Protector shall take place on every first of the month, according to the following schedule: 2 days open for nominations (beginning on the first day of the month), 2 days for campaigning, and 2 days for voting. Protector leaves and takes office on the 10th.
- Any elections of the Cabinet shall take place on the 10th of the month, according to the following schedule: 2 days open for nominations (beginning on the 10th day of the month), 2 days for campaigning, and 2 days for voting. Cabinet leaves and takes office on the 20th.

[edit] The Protector
The founder of the Snowdust Republic, Cox of the Arctic Empire of Cox, became the Protector, or president, if you will, shortly after founding the alliance. This first Protector put the alliance on it's feet and raised it to be the strongest, and very well respected alliance of the lunar world. The Snowdust Republic and the Elitist Lunar Superstructure, also known as ELS, "battled" for a short time for first place. ELS took first place shortly, but followed the return of power to the SR. LUEnar Colonies, or LUE, took the place of ELS soon after. After the first two terms as Protector, Cox stepped aside so Seppie could become the 2nd protector in SR History.
[edit] The Vice Protector
The first vice Protector of the Snowdust Republic was chosen by Cox, shortly after his election into office. This first VP was known as Seppie. The VP holds the power of Senate President and, self explained, vice Protector.
[edit] The Tribune
The Tribune could be called the minion of the Senate President, and holds the voice of the Senate. Elections for the tribune took place shortly after the alliance was created and the Protector was chosen. Two contestants were running for the position; Scuba Lumberjack, and Captain Klaus. The election resulted in a tie, and one contestant informed the Patrician, also known as The Holyone, that he did not want the position and believed the other member deserved it more. Scuba Lumberjack was then elected as Tribune of the Snowdust Republic.
[edit] The Legatus Orator
The position of Legatus Orator, or the Minister of Foreign Affairs, was taken by Xoirun shortly after the election for the Tribune. Xoirun went up against a member known by the name of Robotnik. It was a close battle, that resulted in a tie. The Patrician, The Holyone, again, had to break another tie. The position was given to Xoirun based on the Patrician's experience with the member and knew that Xoirun had foreign affairs experience, due to past relations. Robotnik, the runnerup, was later given an assistant minister's position and declared the Assistant Orator.
[edit] The Aedile
Aedile Captain Klaus was the first Aedile of the Snowdust Republic. Based in Rome, the Aediles were responsible for maintenance of public buildings and regulation of public festivals. This position may also be known as the Minister of the Interior. The elections for which took place during the elections for the Legatus Orator. The battle for the ruler of the innards was between two members as well; Captain Klaus, and Cassie. Captain Klaus was elected Aedile in a short day or two. Cassie was later granted the position of Director of Security by the Aedile.
[edit] The DoD
The DoD, or Department of Defence, was first lead by NightBringer056, who is a member of the Patricians guard, and a helping father of the alliance. This position was known as the Legatus. After about one month, another member came forward with many proposals for the alliance. This member, Arctic, became the second Legatus of the Snowdust Republic Military, and would aid NightBringer056 in his duties.
[edit] Fall of the Republic
On August 2, 2007 at 4:18 AM, Stukov, Admin of the Snowdust Republic, announced the fall of the Republic and his ascension to Emperor of the new Snowdust Imperium. He is quoted as follows:
"The attempt on my life has left me scarred. But my resolve has never been STRONGER. In order to secure the security and continuing stability, the Republic will be reorganized into the first-er like fith Galactic-er Lunar Empire, for a safe and secure society."
The Republic has since been reborn.
